THIS MORNING: It's a relatively warm start, in the 70s and 80s across our area. There is a steady south wind, which has helped increase humidity. Farther to the north, a front is headed south from Colorado and Kansas. Over the last few hours there have been a few showers in the Panhandle, moving from west to east.
TODAY: Partly to mostly cloudy, high near 90. Wind out of the south will become N/NE 10-15mph. A few showers may develop later this morning. Then there's a chance for a few storms in the area this afternoon. Some might become strong out east.
TONIGHT: Mild and mostly cloudy, slight chance for a storm. Low near 67.
TOMORROW: High 91, better chance for showers and storms. A few healthy downpours are possible, which is badly needed here.
LOOKING AHEAD: It won't be quite as hot this week. In fact, it looks like Wednesday will be in the 80s. There is at least a slight chance for a shower or storm through Friday.
The weekend looks mostly sunny, near seasonal heat.
Have a great day. Look for the next update here late this afternoon.
