Another nice start to the day with a clear sky and temperatures in the 60s. For this afternoon it will be like yesterday with highs in the lower to mid 90s. Sunny and a light southwesterly wind 5-12mph.
TONIGHT: Clear with morning temperatures in the 60s again.
LOOKING AHEAD: The ridge of high pressure continues across our region. Temperatures will be heating into the upper 90s/100s to end the week and this weekend. This will be near record heat with a sunny to mostly sunny sky. Morning temperatures will be also warming with more 70s than 60s.
TROPICS: Now Post-Tropical Cyclone Marco continues diminishing in strength as it pushes west across the coast line. After clipping Cuba Laura has strengthen to a Category 1 Hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico. This storm has plenty of fuel from the warm Gulf waters and likely to become a ,major hurricane before making landfall overnight Wednesday near the Texas-Louisiana border.
