33 additional COVID-19 cases, six more recoveries Sunday in Lubbock

The City of Lubbock reported 33 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 among the county's residents Sunday. It also reported six additional recoveries.

There are currently 1,510 active cases, 5,282 recoveries and 93 deaths. 

86,635 tests have been administered in Lubbock. This includes people who traveled here to get tested. While their tests are included in the test total, their cases are reported back to their home county. The overall positivity rate is now at 10 percent, slightly lower than the past few weeks. 

67 people are being treated in Lubbock hospitals for COVID-19, including 34 people in ICUs. More than 400 beds are open for any procedure. Much more info is available on the city's COVID-19 dashboard
