Had some light rain overnight mainly to our eastern counties with rain totals for most locations less than a tenth of an inch. Current radar below:
This activity diminishes through the morning then mostly sunny into the afternoon. Temperatures heating up again with 90s for our area and a light southeast-south wind 8-15mph.
TONIGHT: Diminishing storms push out of New Mexico with some clouds moving into our area. Temperatures drop to the upper 60s and low 70s to start Friday morning.
FRIDAY: We are ending the week with a chance for isolated showers and storms starting late afternoon into early Saturday morning. Models are a little different with this activity, but still leaving a chance. Otherwise mostly sunny and hot with highs in the upper 90s.
EXTENDED: The ridge of high pressure will stay to our west keeping us dry and hot. Upper 90s and 100s for this weekend, then highs drop a few degrees into next week.
