LUBBOCK, Texas -

The Lubbock grand jury has indicted a man for breaking a restraining order and his ex-girlfriend's bedroom window.

The victim told police Jesus Pardo, 28, tried to text and call her several times back in June. One night, after she stopped answering, she says Pardo broke into her bedroom window and tried to forced her through it. The victim said he ran when she called the police.

While the officer was writing his report, he reports Pardo came back. The officer says he chased Pardo away then demanded the officer kill him and started fighting. Police report Pardo tried choking the officer, but a neighbor helped stop it.

Pardo is now indicted for stalking and assault on a public servant. Those are both third degree felonies with sentences up to 10 years in prison.
