LUBBOCK, Texas -

We had good rain to our eastern counties yesterday and here are some of those totals from the Tech Mesonet:

Snyder 0.37"
Post 0.30"

Current radar below:
South Plains Radar

TODAY: Partly cloudy with an slight chance for isolated areas of rain into the afternoon hours. It will feel much nicer with highs ranging from the upper 80s to mid 90s, nearing 91 for Lubbock.

TONIGHT: Rain chances diminish and cloud cover breaks apart before midnight. Temperatures starting in the 60s for tomorrow morning.

TUESDAY: Although rain chances are slim a pop-up shower or storm can't be ruled out. Mostly sunny with the high near 92.

REST OF THE WEEK: Highs do climb to the mid to upper 90s as we end this first week of school for LISD. Not the best of rain chances but some night time convection will be possible late Wednesday and late Friday. Morning temperatures continue into the upper 60s and low 70s.

Have a great Monday! Matt with the next updated forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
