THIS AFTERNOON: It's a really hot day with plenty of sun across the area. Most spots have made it up around 100. We are watching New Mexico, where a few storms are developing once again. Some storms that were up in the Panhandle last night made it across our area early this morning. Here is current FOX34 VIPIR:
TONIGHT: Slim chance for a shower or storm, low near 74.
TOMORROW: High near 101, sunny. Wind SW/S 10-18mph. An isolated storm is possible, though the chance is low.
LOOKING AHEAD: It'll probably be hottest on Thursday, with tomorrow through Saturday each up to at least 100. We also start to see the signs of night-time storms Friday night.
The big upper ridge is expected to break down, leading to the heat being closer to what's typical this time of year next week. It also may mean the return of a few more showers and storms to the area.
Have a great rest of your day. Bobby will have a full update to the forecast here early tomorrow.
