Ridge of high pressure with some moisture wrapping on the west side is set up to our south. This will leave us with a slight chance for isolated showers and storms in our area. If this develops it will be in the daytime heating around 3-4 PM near the state line. This activity will be pushing west to east and may make it into the central counties. Some brief downpours with high wind gusts will be possible. Current radar below:
TODAY: Partly sunny with the high near 98, little breeze from the south 10-20mph.
TONIGHT: Rain chances diminish before midnight, then partly cloudy with lows in the 70s.
EXTENDED: Lower rain chances with more sunshine through the weekend and next week. An isolated shower or storm can't be ruled out, but expect lots of hot day with upper 90s and morning temperatures in the 70s.
Have a great Thursday! Matt with the next updated forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
