LITTLEFIELD, Texas -

Updated:

According to police records, Moron was taken in for questioning where he continued to change his story multiple times and asked for a polygraph test.

Police say Moron was deceptive on three questions.  Reports indicate the examiner asked if the gun went off and if it surprised Moron, which he said was true. The examiner also asked if Moron put the gun up to Rodriguez's head, which he also said was true. Police asked Moron to write a letter to Rodriguez, where he mentions he never meant to hurt her "terribly bad," and that he only meant to scare her.

Documents indicate Moron was transported to the Lamb Healthcare Center for medical clearance, where he refused treatment. Moron was released to jail personnel without incident.

An account at AIM Bank has been set up to help with funeral and memorial expenses for Jasmine Rodriguez. To donate, you can go to any AIM Bank location and mention her name.

A GoFundMe account has also been set up - here.  All proceeds will go directly to the family.
