Thursday: City reports 105 new positive COVID-19 cases, 54 additional recoveries

LUBBOCK, Texas -

The Lubbock health department reported 105 new positive cases of COVID-19 and 54 more recoveries Thursday. The number of people who have died from the virus remains at 75.

 

There are now 2,010 active cases, with 3,348 confirmed cases now listed as recovered. 5,433 people have been infected with the virus in our county since mid-March.

 

There were 685 new tests administered, for a total of 68,997.

There are 105 people hospitalized, three less than yesterday. Out of those, 51 are in specialized intensive care and 54 others are "floor patients."
