The Health Department will hold a community-wide immunization event at Monterey high school located at 3211 47th St.. Vaccines protect our children, and our community, from a number of illnesses, and they are an important part of keeping our kids healthy.

Aug 1st
Maggie Trejo Supercenter to host National Night Out during the day on Saturday – 200 back packs will be distributed between 10am – 12pm at 3200 Amherst. Students must be present to get a back pack. There will be a designated drive thru area, everyone is asked to stay in vehicles.

4ORE Gold and the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce are doing a l little extra to help local kids prepare for success this school year. Bring in new school supplies to benefit the Lubbock Dream Center and you will get 30 minutes of FREE gaming.

Parks & Rec will be opening up Community Centers.
