THIS AFTERNOON: It's another day with scattered showers and thunderstorms across the area. Each storm is small, so the coverage area is fairly low. But some of these are producing welcome rainfall. Also, with more clouds, it's stayed in the 80s across much of the area. Here is current FOX34 VIPIR:
TONIGHT: Some showers and storms will continue this evening, with a lower chance for rain through morning. Low near 71.
TOMORROW: High 91, mostly cloudy, wind S/SE 5-12mph. We again expect a few showers and storms to develop. The chance at any one location is low.
LOOKING AHEAD: An isolated shower or storm is possible Friday, but the rain chance is lower than tomorrow. It'll be a little warmer, high near 93. The high temp should reach the low to mid 90s over the next several days.
There is a disturbance moving in from the Gulf. It will bring pretty good rain coverage to South and Central Texas. I think some computer models are over-doing the rain up this way. But there is at least enough of a signal to include a slight chance for rain first part of next week.
Have a great rest of your day. Bobby will have a full update to the forecast here early tomorrow.
