Man held in Alaska for deadly Lubbock crash
Crash Jan. 1, 2020 at Slide Road and Marsha Sharp Frwy.
A man was arrested and is currently being held in Anchorage, Alaska for a manslaughter charge from a deadly crash in Lubbock earlier this year.
A warrant was issued for Raymundo Miguel Gamboa July 7, related to a January 1 crash at the Marsha Sharp Freeway and Slide Road. Jose Fraire later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
A week after the warrant was issued, Lubbock Police report the department as well as U.S. Marshalls learned Gamboa was found in Anchorage. He is currently held on the manslaughter warrant as well as other local charges.
