LUBBOCK, Texas -

Texas Tech is preparing to start the fall semester with a clean slate. The university is undergoing an extensive sanitation process before students return to campus.

Over the past month, all resident halls have undergone multiple deep cleanings. Medical-grade disinfectants that are proven to kill viruses like COVID-19 are being used across the campus.

The university custodial team has implemented an electro-static application process to ensure all surfaces are disinfected.

Ventilation systems have been upgraded and are on par will all CDC recommendations. Tech has also mandated face masks for all students and faculty while on campus.

In addition to increased cleaning, Red Raider Wellness stations will be set up across campus and fitted with disinfectant wipes, face masks and hand sanitizer.
