It was a hot weekend, but next couple of days will be hotter! Today's highs around 108 with the record at 108 set back in 2016. Mostly sunny and breezy with a southwest wind 12-22mph.
A slim chance for showers with a few storms to push in our area into the evening hours from the west. Some higher wind gusts will be possible with this activity. Current radar below:
TONIGHT: Showers may continue tonight with a partly cloudy sky. These chances look best to our north and western counties. Another mild morning with the low near 80 with the southerly wind 10-18mph.
TUESDAY: Again the high near 108, with isolated showers with a few storms possible.
REST OF WEEK: Good news by the end of the week is temperatures look to drop to the upper 90s... so still a hot, but a little cooler. Might have some rain with a weak front Wednesday again not the best of chances. Low temperatures will also drop with more lower to mid 70s.
Have a great Monday! Matt with the next updated forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
