100 Black Men of West Texas, Lubbock Chamber partner to support law enforcement

UPDATE JULY 27, 2020:

The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce and 100 Black Men of West Texas says they has a huge response from the community and ran out of signs quickly. 

To keep the momentum going, a second batch of signs was ordered and are available for pickup starting today, July 27, between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. at the Lubbock Chamber office.

ORIGINAL JULY 10, 2020:

The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce and 100 Black Men of West Texas are partnering to create yard signs that show support for area law enforcement.

The yard signs will be available for pick-up free of charge beginning Monday at the Lubbock Chamber office in the Wells Fargo building downtown.

Reggie Dial, president of 100 Black Men of West Texas, and Eddie McBride, president and CEO of the Lubbock Chamber issued this joint statement:

Together, we support a community that thrives, a place where there is opportunity, equality, safety, and security. The intent of this sign’s message is to show our area law enforcement officers that we appreciate and recognize that they are called to protect and serve.”

You can pick up a sign between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Monday, July 13 at 1500 Broadway, Suite 101.
