LUBBOCK, Texas -

A man wanted for a double murder here in Lubbock is jailed in San Angelo. Officers arrested Edward Wilson, 25, for the deaths of Michael Carson, 31, and Gregory Tubbs, 64, last week.

Investigators found their bodies in a home near East 3rd and Beech. Last Wednesday, investigators report Carson was supposed to meet two men from San Angelo to sell them drugs.

Witnesses told police Wilson was one of them, saying he was telling family members over the weekend he went to Lubbock to rob Carson and Tubbs.

A witness told police Wilson was involved in a shooting at San Angelo's MLK Park on Juneteenth.

The ATF matched shell casings from that shooting to the ones found at the Beech murder scene.

Wilson is held on a $500,000 bond pending transfer to Lubbock to face two counts of murder.

If convicted, he faces up to life in prison with the possibility for parole.
