LUBBOCK, Texas -

Lubbock's State Farm agents donated $4,300 to the Boys & Girls Club of Lubbock Thursday morning.

Funds will be used to purchase two cleaning machines much needed in a kids play area - where germs can spread rapidly.

"We'll be able to come in and we'll be able to spray these tables, and these clubs and floors and everything and let these air misters come in and just dry, air dry. And after that's done, it'll be disinfected," Board President Michael Uryasz, with the Lubbock Boys & Girls Club Chapter, said.

"It's much easier than Clorox'ing, and using a wipe on all the tables. It's quicker. It's more user-friendly and efficient for our clubs to clean large areas in less amount of time."

Even with the preexisting sanitizing procedures Uryasz says the clubs have been blessed to have not yet become a hot spot for COVID-19.

Along with following CDC guidelines, he also thanks the parents for their cooperation.
