Carl Reiner has died. He had a prolific career as a writer, director and actor. He was the winner of nine Emmy Awards including five for "The Dick Van Dyke Show," which he co-created.
His most popular films as a director included "Oh God" starring George Burns, "The Jerk," with Steve Martin and "All of Me," with Martin and Lily Tomlin.
More recently he had supporting roles in the "Ocean's Eleven" movies and appearances on Two and a Half Men" and "Hot in Cleveland."
Carl Reiner, father of Rob Reiner, was 98.
