Our of the 28 days this month 19 have had highs above the seasonal average. This looks to continue not only today, but over the next several days. High nearing 101 with a sunny sky, and a breezy southwest wind 12-22mph. Here is your evening planner as you get home to relax:
TONIGHT: Clear sky, low nearing 70 with the wind still breezy 10-20mph.
REST OF THE WEEK: Lots of upper 90s and low 100s with no chances for precipitation, something we desperately need right now. Wind speeds stay breezy Tuesday, then drop through the rest of the week.
JULY 4th WEEKEND: Planning on popping fireworks? Please be extremely cautious since we have drought concerns in our area. The ridge of high pressure that is bringing the heat will push west of us and this will bring a northwest flow aloft. Temperatures to drop a few degrees, still hot, with a little bit of cloud cover. Might have some showers or storms in our area by the start of next week.
Have a great Monday! Matt with the next updated forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
