THIS AFTERNOON: It's warmed into the lower 90s across most of our area, with it a little bit hotter north of our area, around Amarillo in the Panhandle. The air is also drier, with the dew point in the 40s Lubbock and points west. It should stay clear this evening, though an isolated storms is possible west, near the state line.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear, low near 69. Wind SE/S 10-15mph.
TOMORROW: Warmer and mostly sunny, high near 94. Wind S/SE 10-18mph.
WEEKEND: Partly cloudy and warm Saturday, high near 92. There is a slight chance a few storms will make it into the area Saturday night...but it's more likely the storms will stay well west/northwest of here. Sunday will turn warmer, in the mid to upper 90s.
NEXT WEEK: Monday and Tuesday will probably be the hottest days, with plenty of sun. While there may be a few isolated storms over the next week, it generally looks hot and dry.
Have a great rest of your day. Bobby will have a full update to the forecast posted here tomorrow morning.
