Temperatures will warm quickly with highs a few degrees more than yesterday nearing 93. Sunshine mixed with high clouds and a light south-southeast wind 10-15mph.
NEXT FEW NIGHTS: We still have a northerly flow aloft and with showers and storms developing in the higher terrain of New Mexico this might make it into parts of our area. Not great rain chances as this activity looks to fall apart before or as it moves into our northern and northwestern counties. For the rest of us more cloud cover into the morning and staying dry. Low temperatures warm with more upper 60s and low 70s through the weekend.
WEEKEND: High temperatures hold into the lower to mid 90s next few days with upper 90s possible Sunday. Wind speeds do pick up for 12-20mph for a breezy weekend.
NEXT WEEK: Temperatures continue to climb in the triple digits which may continue for most of next week. With these hotter temperatures brings drier conditions with a ridge of high pressure in our region.
Have a great Thursday! Matt with the next updated forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
