Christopher Thomas Corcorran, 33, was taken into custody on a judicial arrest warrant for First-Degree Murder in the evening hours of June 18, 2020.

During the course of the investigation, agents with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI), in collaboration with multiple area agencies, gathered evidence that Mr. Bryant was killed in Grand County and his body moved to Jackson County. The investigation ultimately led to the identification of Mr. Corcorran and his alleged role in Mr. Bryant’s homicide. Both parties were known to one another.  Authorities assess there is no further risk to public safety.

Mr. Corcorran is being held without bond at the Grand County jail. His advisement on formal charges is slated for July 1, 2020.

A former Lubbock resident who lived in Colorado is believed to be the victim of a homicide.

The body of Dustin Bryant, 42, was found in Jackson County, Colorado May 30. A passerby notified sheriff's deputies. Forensics scientists identified the body June 8. Jackson County is northwest of the Denver metro.

Bryant was a resident of Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation reports the investigation into his death is ongoing. While the cause of death has not been released, investigators believe Bryant was the victim of a homicide.
