June 17th
Lubbock County’s FREE High Noon Concert Series started this week and you can enjoy every Wednesday at noon at the Lubbock County Courthouse Gazebo located at 904 Broadway St. 12:00 – 1:00pm

June 18th
Little Red Riding Hood Nursery is hosting a Make a Butterfly Feeder from 1pm – 2pm. Cost is $20 4006 34th St. https://www.facebook.com/events/725589691508058/

June 18th
The Code Enforcement Department of the City of Lubbock will have a roll off dumpster located at 15th and Inler Ave (FM179) between 9am – 1pm for residents of the neighborhood to dispose of bulky items.

June 19th
Lubbock’s Juneteenth 2020 celebration will take place at the 5&J Gallery 1106 5th St at CASP & LHUCA Plaza from 11am to 5pm. Please wear a face mask/covering. Food, music, activities for kids, vendors and a panel discussion w/Black Lubbockites. For more info contact Alexis 806-300-4291

Catholic Charities will be hosting a week long “A Time to Remember 2020” in replacement of their annual fundraiser that they are not able to have due to COVID19. Lubbock Arts Alliance Zoom Art Camps Free. Must Register now. Classes are for children age 8-13. Package of art supplies will be mailed to your house free of charge. Will include all the materials needed for each art camp.

July 6-10th 11am -12pm Space Pop Art – Transform space imagery into pop art

July 13-17th 11am – 12pm Fantasy Landscapes – Learn how to draw imaginary landscapes

July 20 -24th 11am -12pm Nature Abstraction – take something from nature and turn it to abstract art.

July 27 – 31st 11am-12pm Portrait Realism -Draw a picture that looks exactly like a photograph of a person
