Another hot day across our area with more lower 90s and a light southerly wind 5-12mph. Later into the afternoon continuing this evening a chance for some isolated showers and storms developing in parts of our area. Accompanying these storms downpours, lightning, and stronger wind gusts possible. Current radar below:
TONIGHT: After the sunsets rain chance diminish with clouds clearing overnight. Another mild morning with lowers in the mid and upper 60s.
THURSDAY: Models continue to hint the chance for more isolated showers and storms possible again through the evening. Temperatures continue to climb with upper 90s common and a light southerly wind again.
EXTENDED: Rain chances diminish as the ridge of high pressure moves overhead, leading to more sunshine with highs staying in the upper 90s all the way into next week. Wind speeds look to pick up for a light breeze this weekend.
Enjoy today and pray for rain! Matt will have the updates on storms and the forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
