Hot next several days, slight storm chance Wednesday

Posted: Updated:

It's another warm day, with upper 80s across much of our area. It's been sunny most of the day, now with some afternoon clouds. We can't rule out an isolated storm, but that should be it.

TONIGHT: Mild and mostly clear, low in the mid 60s.

TOMORROW: Warmer, high near 93. Wind SW/W 5-12mph. By the afternoon it does look like there will be a few storms in the area. But the chance at any one location will be low. Hopefully you'll get one of these, because there will be a lot of humidity available to produce some downpours. But, again, this shouldn't be widespread.

LOOKING AHEAD: Upper-level high pressure should keep it sunny and hot. We can't rule out a shower or storm completely, but no promising sign of rain.

TROPICS: Tropical storm Cristobal has formed in the southern Gulf. At this time the forecast is for it to head north. High pressure over our region should deflect any rain potential.

Have a great rest of your day. Bobby will have a full update posted here tomorrow morning.
