Saturday: Lubbock at 691 COVID-19 cases, 170 active, 471 recovered, 50 deaths

LUBBOCK -

Three more COVID-19 cases were confirmed among Lubbock County residents Saturday. An additional recovery was reported.

Of people who tested and received a positive, 471 people have recovered. There are 170 active cases currently in the county.

The death toll remains at 50 people, which is where it has been for nearly three weeks.

The rate of people who test positive continues to drop, now at 5.2 percent. Of the 18,052 tests performed in Lubbock, 946 people have tested positive, with 487 tests pending. Some of these tests are for people outside of Lubbock.

The rate of people who test positive has been dropping for weeks.
