Coronavirus Relief Program accepting applications for Texas Farmers, ranchers, producers

LUBBOCK, Texas -

Farmers can now apply for revenue loss due to COVID-19.

It's part of the USDA's Coronavirus Food Assistance Program. It will provide $16 billion in direct payments to fiber and food producers nationwide.

In order to qualify, a producer must have suffered at least a 5% price decline or losses due to supply chain disruptions.

The USDA is accepting application now through Aug. 28.
