Three additional COVID-19 cases in Lubbock, positive rate continues to drop

LUBBOCK -

 The City of Lubbock confirmed three additional cases of the novel coronavirus among the county's residents Monday.

This brings the total to 667 cases. Of these, 178 are listed as active, 439 recovered and the number of deaths attributed to COVID-19 remains at 50, where it has been for two weeks.

There have now been 15,395 COVID-19 tests performed in Lubbock, some for residents of other counties. 903 of these tests returned a positive result, which is a positive rate of 5.87 percent. There are 87 tests with results pending. The positive rate continues to trend lower.
