Thursday: Lubbock at 650 COVID-19 cases; 177 active; 423 recoveries and 50 deaths

LUBBOCK, Texas -

11 new COVID-19 cases were reported among Lubbock County residents Thursday, bringing the total case count to 650.

The number of new cases reaching double-digits has not been reported since May 1. However, eight more people are listed as recovered, with the number of recoveries rising steadily.

There are currently 177 active cases. Of those who were tested and received a positive, 423 are listed as recovered. The death toll remains at 50 people.
