LUBBOCK, Texas -

News release:

Lubbock National Bank, Branch of Amarillo National Bank, announces gifts totaling $1 million to local non-profits as financial support to help during the COVID-19 crisis. The donations will cover Lubbock, Amarillo, Bryan/College Station, and Borger.

“Our local non-profits are working harder than ever to take care of our communities. Now is the time to support them in any way possible” says Eddie Schulz, President of LNB.

Schulz notes that many nonprofits continue to help those in need while seeing a decline in revenue due to canceled fundraisers and economic uncertainty.

Lubbock non-profits receiving COVID-19-related support from the bank include Guadalupe Parkway Centers, West Texas Salute to Veterans, Children’s Home of Lubbock, Food Bank of Lubbock, Children’s Advocacy Center, Women’s Protective Services, Meals on Wheels, Lubbock ISD, Frenship, and Cooper High School Food pantry’s and many more.

“These organizations bind our community together and help those with the greatest needs,” says Schulz. “They were essential to our community’s health before the pandemic and are even more important going forward. We are grateful for all the good they do for others.”

LNB has also donated 10,000 N99 masks to local hospitals.

These special COVID-19 relief donations are just a small part of LNB’s support during the crisis. In addition to these donations, LNB is offering payment deferrals, fee waivers, mortgage forbearances, emergency loans, loan modifications, Paycheck Protection Program loans, modified hours, curbside banking, and working to keep everyone safe.
