Keller Williams hosts prayer event for Covenant to celebrate Red Day

LUBBOCK, Texas -

Keller Williams celebrated its annual Red Day differently this year due to the pandemic.

The real estate company hosted a prayer event for Covenant Health Thursday evening.

Worship was set up in the parking lot across from the hospital's emergency room. Families were able to drive up in their cars and get out one by one to sing a song or say a prayer.

Real Estate Agent Ruben Trujillo says the event is a testament to working at Keller Williams and the positive impact it brings to our community.

"I think this is something that's actually pretty rare. You don't see very often that you take an afternoon off, you go out in the community and you just love on people. And to work for a company that does that it ultimately has an affect on the culture of this organization," he said. "You can see it from person to person in the lives that we get to impact by selling real estate."

Every year on the 2nd Thursday of May, Keller Williams shuts down officer for the day of service.
