Monday: Lubbock at 598 COVID-19 cases; 234 active; 314 recoveries and 50 deaths

LUBBOCK, Texas -

The City of Lubbock health department reported six additional cases of the novel coronavirus among the county's residents Monday. This brings the total case count to 589. Of those who were tested and received a positive, 232 cases are considered active, 308 listed as recovered.

The total number of people whose death is attributed to COVID-19 is now at 50.

Through its investigations into the positive COVID-19 cases, the Health Department has identified At Home at 4304 West Loop 289 as a possible community exposure site. The exposure date is May 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
