THIS AFTERNOON: The wind is finally diminishing. We had gusts of 50-60mph early this morning and the steady wind was up around 30mph for much of today. That front is now in Central Texas, bringing dry air to much of Texas. This is why it'll be sunny next few days with no good rain chance.
TONIGHT: Clear and cool, low near 42. Wind E/SE 5-15mph.
TOMORROW: Sunny, high near 76. Wind S/SW 5-15mph.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny early, with some more clouds through the day. High near 78. There is a slight chance for storms Sunday night. We expect storms to develop over Eastern New Mexico Sunday afternoon then move this way. It's not a great chance for rain, but at least a few storms are possible in our area.
BETTER RAIN CHANCE: We expect more clouds and more humidity on Monday. The chance for rain and storms is looking a bit better. There might be a few strong storms, but severe weather parameters aren't too high. More than anything, it looks like the setup for some soaking downpours...which we really need.
NEXT WEEK: There might be a few isolated storms Tuesday afternoon, though things are looking drier. Then it'll turn hot with the humidity east of our area mid-week.
Have a great weekend. Robert will have an update posted here Saturday afternoon.
