LUBBOCK, Texas -

The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce and Rep. Jodey Arrington celebrated National Day of Prayer virtually.

The virtual gathering was held via Zoom and broadcasted on The Network Breakfast Facebook page.

It went from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Thursday.

"The chamber of Lubbock represents all that is good about West Texas. That's evident about the national day of prayer," Congressman Arrington said. "Our nation needs prayer more than new policies. Instead of more government we need more god."

President Trump honored the day of prayer in the Rose Garden.
