Saturday: Lubbock at 549 COVID-19 cases: 264 active, 241 recoveries, 44 deaths

The City of Lubbock health department reported six additional cases of the novel coronavirus among the county's residents Saturday. And there was one more death attributed to COVID-19. This brings the total case count to 549. Of those who were tested and received a positive, 264 cases are considered active, 241 listed as recovered and there have been 44 deaths.

Through Saturday there have been 8,112 tests administered in Lubbock County. Of these, 686, or 8.5 percent, have returned a positive result. 35 tests results are pending. Some of these tests are for residents of other counties.
