Sunday: Lubbock at 499 COVID-19 cases: 293 active, 166 recoveries, 40 deaths

LUBBOCK -

The City of Lubbock confirmed two additional COVID-19 cases among the county's residents Sunday. This is the lowest single-day addition to the count total since no cases were reported March 23. 

The total number of cases is 499. Of those people who were tested and received a positive: 293 are active cases, 166 are recovered and 40 people have died.

The city has much more detailed data at its COVID-19 dashboard.

 

A few days ago the city added two potential public exposure sites. These sites will be listed for two weeks:

Family Dollar: 106 North University Ave, Lubbock
4/6 12 pm to 6 pm
4/7 9 am to 5 pm
4/8 2 pm to 8 pm
4/10 2 pm to 6 pm
4/13 9 am to 3 pm


Walgreens Pharmacy: 3404 Indiana Ave, Lubbock
4/20 8 am to 5 pm
4/21 8 am to 5 pm

The city's next semiweekly news conference webinar is 11:30 a.m. Monday. You can watch it here online as well as on FOX34 and FOX34 NewsNow. Governor Abbott is also expected to announce the next steps to reopen Texas Monday.
