15 COVID-19 cases in Plainview, Hale County; 7 recoveries; 2 deaths

Hale County, Texas -

As of 5 p.m. Sunday, April 19, there are seven confirmed COVID-19 cases in Hale County and eight in Plainview. Two deaths from the virus are reported in Hale County.

Of the 15 confirmed cases, seven have been listed as recovered and completed the required quarantine period.

Seven of those cases were spread locally, five were spread outside the county and three cases are currently under investigation.

The health department reports of the 110 COVID-19 test administered, 103 have yielded negative results with one test pending.

0 to 20 years old - 0
21 to 40 years old - 4
41 to 60 years old - 4
61 and older - 7
