Sunday: Lubbock at 430 COVID-19 cases: 291 active, 107 recovered, 32 deaths

LUBBOCK -

There were 11 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported among Lubbock County residents Sunday, bringing the total to 430. Of this total of people who were tested and received a positive, 291 are active cases and 107 are recovered.

Four additional deaths related to COVID-19 were reported Sunday, bringing the total to 32. Lubbock County remains fifth in the state for COVID-19-related deaths. Health officials earlier in the week said the trend continues that most deaths are associated with nursing homes.

Of the 430 total cases, 212 are associated with a nursing home, which includes residents and employees.
