Temperatures will rise quickly after the sun rises with temperatures nearing 70s by noon. High near 81 with a sunny sky, but wind speeds like yesterday will be breezy 15-25mph from the southwest.
TONIGHT: Cold front moves through our area before the sunrises tomorrow morning, likely in Lubbock around midnight. This will bring a gusty northerly wind and temperatures will plummet for the morning. Low near 35, with cloud cover increasing.
FRIDAY: Temperatures will be around 20 degrees colder than today, high near 60. Partly sunny with the stronger wind speeds in the morning hours.
WEEKEND: Temperatures to rebound quickly to the 70s. The wind becomes strong again Saturday with a slim chance for an isolated shower or storm. Dry and mostly sunny Sunday.
NEXT WEEK: More wind expected with the strongest on Tuesday as temperatures again warm in the 80s. Another upper level system moves across our region mid to late week and might bring a chance for rain.
