Tide Dry Cleaners offers free laundry services to COVID-19 responders

LUBBOCK, Texas -

Tide Dry Cleaners is providing free laundry services to COVID-19 front-line responders and their family through its Loads of Hope program.
Hospital and medical staff, police officers and fire fighters can bring their personal laundry to Tide's Dry Cleaners stores or request a home pick-up to have it cleaned, free of charge.

Customers must bring a valid form of identification for verification.
The cleaner offers a drive-thru service at some of its locations. Customers can use the lobby at the 19th Street location if needed but must follow social distancing guidelines. Stores will not accept any scrubs or medical clothing to avoid any threat of the coronavirus.

"The first reponders are serving the community and sacrificing a lot during this time," Tom Rask, Tide Dry Cleaners director of operations said. "So what more can we do to just try and lighten the load for them, and allow them to have time with their families at home."

The program started March 30th and ends May 9, 2020. The company says it will continually evaluate the duration of the offer.
