11 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Plainview, Hale County

Hale County, Texas -

As of 5 p.m. Sunday, April 12, there are four confirmed COVID-19 cases in Hale County and seven in Plainview. Two deaths from the virus were also reported in Hale County.

Of the 11 confirmed cases, five have been listed as recovered and completed the required quarantine period.

Five of those cases were spread locally, four were spread outside the county and two cases are currently under investigation.

The health department reports of the 76 COVID-19 test administered, 72 have yielded negative results with one test pending.

0 to 20 years old - 0
21 to 40 years old - 3
41 to 60 years old - 3
61 and older - 5
