Four COVID-19 recoveries in Plainview, Hale County

As of 5 p.m. Thursday, April 9, there are six confirmed COVID-19 cases in Hale County and three in Plainview.

Of those nine cases, four have been listed as recovered and completed the required quarantine period.

Five of those cases were spread locally, with the other four from outside the county.

The Health Department reports of the 70 COVID-19 tests administered, 59 have yielded negative results and 10 cases are pending.
 
Here are confirmed cases by age:
0 to 20 years old - zero cases
21 to 40 years old - three cases
41 to 60 years old - two cases
61+ years old - four cases
