Easter services on the radio, webstream and drive-in

Posted: Updated:
LUBBOCK -

A few weeks ago we told you how several churches are adapting to social distancing, by offering streaming services online. But not all parishioners have the technology or want to use their computer to attend service.

For Easter Sunday there are several Lubbock churches adding radio broadcasts. Here are some services for Easter:
- Aldersgate Church at 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. on 107.7 YesFM
- Broadway Church of Christ at 10:30 a.m. on 93.7 The Eagle
- Generations Church at 10 a.m. on 107.7 YesFM
- Lakeridge United Methodist Church at 9:15 a.m. on 93.7 The Eagle
- Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 9 a.m. on Magic 106.5

This is a list we compiled a few weeks ago of churches offering online services. There may be some changes, contact your church to confirm service times:

The Stars & Stripes Drive-In in northwest Lubbock will host multiple services.

Trinity Church will hold a service on all three screens Saturday night, April 11. Open at 7:30, one-hour Easter service begins at 8:30.

Victory Life Easter service at Stars & Stripes will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday. Sound will be broadcast by the theater's low-power FM transmitter.

Broadview Baptist Easter service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Sound will be broadcast on another frequency, via low-power FM transmitter.

Turning Point Church service will be 8:30 Sunday night via projection onto two screens. Gates open at 7:30 p.m.

Stars & Stripes is enforcing all social distancing rules. Restrooms are closed, guests must stay in their vehicles. "Thankfully we have a venue that allows people to safely worship our risen Lord in the same place," said Ryan Smith, owner of Stars & Stripes.
