Thursday: Lubbock has 234 COVID-19 cases; 9 deaths; 62 recoveries

LUBBOCK, Texas -

The City of Lubbock health department reported 20 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases among the county's residents Thursday, bringing the total to 234. Two additional deaths were reported, with nine total deaths in Lubbock County.

Of the people who were tested and received a positive, 62 are now listed as recovered.
 

Here is the category for each of the 234 cases:
Healthcare worker - 7 (2.9%)
Nursing home - 118 (50.4%)
Investigation pending - 18 (7.6 %)
Community spread - 45 (19.2%)
Exposed a known COVID-19 case - 32 (13.6%)
International travel - 8 (3.4%)
Domestic travel - 6 (2.5%)

Here are confirmed cases by age:
10 to 19 years old - nine cases
20 to 29 years old - 38 cases
30 to 39 years old - 33 cases
40 to 49 years old - 37 cases
50 to 59 years old - 34 cases
60 to 69 years old - 29 cases
70 to 79 years old - 29 cases
80 to 89 years old - 19 cases
90 or older - six cases
Unreported - 0
