Local business helps community look good & feel good

Posted: Updated:

If you've been home for a while now, you may consider it an accomplishment if you got dressed today. Signature Stag Menswear is helping you update your wardrobe without even leaving the house.

"They always leave looking better than they came in," Signature Stag Owner Natalie Huey said.

Huey describes the store as a party. Before the pandemic, it was all about the experience with beer, shoe shines, and shorts of TV. While trying to bring the same level of customer service outside the store, it has adapted through shopping by text or Facetime.

"I try to really point out things just like I would if I was in store, or a video works really well, pointing out the details and how things fit and explaining it so they can get the right fit for them and then we keep it all on file and make it easy," Huey said.

Other options are curbside service and local delivery.

"And I bring the store to them. We pick it all out, package everything, drive it to their house and leave it on their porch," Huey said.

Whether you're a golfer, outdoors man or just casual, with pictures, measurements and diligent notes, Huey strives to make you look your best while incorporating your style.

"It very customized and personalized to the individual, it can be as extensive as rebuilding a wardrobe from scratch or building upon it or adding some new essentials," Huey said.

She said it's all about the details.

"Guys with red face will try to wear pink and it's not very flattering, and I try to bring out their eye color and make sure they leave feeling very comfortable and confident and overall looking sharp," Huey said.

If you look good, you feel good.

"Most the time a lot of people want to lay around in their sweats, but I think if you actually get up and dress nice, I know your wife or girlfriend will love it," Huey said.
