We are starting cool this morning, but after the sun rises temperatures will quickly climb.
TODAY: Our highs will be near the same as yesterday, nearing 87. Sunshine with some high clouds, plus a west/northwest wind 10-15mph.
TONIGHT: Cloud cover increasing with a cold front through the area into the early morning hours. The wind will chance northeast from this front and may pick up 10-18mph, low near 49.
THURSDAY: Highs will be around 15 to 20 degrees cooler with highs in the 60s and low 70s for the area. Mostly cloudy with a light showers possible, just not a good chance for rain.
WEEKEND: Ending this week moisture quickly returning ahead our next upper level system that has been bringing heavy rain and snow across California over the last few days. So, a chance for showers and storms starting Friday through the first half of Saturday before clearing east. Wind speeds climb for a breezy weekend with temperatures climbing to the lower to mid 70s.
NEXT WEEK: Get ready as another strong front drops morning temperatures near or below freezing Monday and Tuesday morning. Highs will drop to the 50s! Long range models are still showing a little moisture interacting with this cold air and hinting the possibility of mixed precipitation. Still some details to work out over the next few days, but something to keep in mind.
Have a great Wednesday! Matt with the next updated forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
