Sunday: Lubbock at 154 COVID-19 cases, 5 deaths, 21 recoveries

The City of Lubbock health department reported three more confirmed COVID-19 cases in Lubbock Sunday, bringing the total to 154. One more person who has confirmed to have COVID-19 has died, bringing the total to five. The city has not provided information on the two most-recent deaths.
Also, of the 154 who have been tested and received a positive, 21 have now recovered.
Through Sunday 189, or 8.9 percent, of the 2,117 tests administered in Lubbock have returned a positive result. This is greater than the 154 case total because some people tested in Lubbock are not Lubbock County residents.
