FOX34 Corner Kitchen: creamy tuna & noodle casserole

Creamy Tuna & Noodles


· 8 oz. egg noodles or other pasta

· 2 Tbsp. Ghee or olive oil

· 2-3 cloves garlic, minced

· 1 cup frozen peas

· 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

· ¾ cup shredded Parmesan

· 1 large pouch or can of tuna (if using can, drained)


1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.

2. While pasta is cooking, heat the Ghee or olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic to the skillet and saute for about one minute. Carefully add peas; cook for two minutes or until peas begin to soften.

3. Slowly stir in milk to pan, followed by cheese and tuna. Continue to stir until cheese begins to melt.

4. Stir noodles into tuna mixture. Add salt and pepper as desired. Serve immediately.
