Where we are cooler this morning, temperatures will quickly climb to around 5-10 degree warmer for our area. High near 86, a mixture of sunshine and high clouds. Wind speeds do start to pick up 12-20mph during the afternoon from the west-southwest. The record high today is 90.
TONIGHT: Milder with the low near 55, mostly clear sky and a light breeze 10-15mph.
THURSDAY: High near 90... this would break the previous record of 88 set in 1956. Partly sunny with wind speeds climbing to 15-28mph for a breezy day.
EXTENDED: To our west a upper level low will dig south across California then push west. This is what will bring very strong wind to our area Friday and staying windy through the weekend. This system pushes a cold front that drops highs to the mid and upper 60s Saturday. Another upper level low moves in behind the first one and this might bring a slight chance for rain to start next week. Models still in a disagreement for now on if we will get rain, better chances looks east.
Have a great Wednesday! Matt with the next updated forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
